Definition 1 - Spiritual Healing
Spiritual healing assists the restoration of health at all levels of being, irrespective of where it has manifested. There is no distinction of race, class, sex or religion and no affirmation of religious faith is required of the patient. Spiritual healing may be given for any illness, stress or injury as a therapy which is complementary to any other orthodox or alternative practise. Healing works on the patient's subtle energies aiding health and well-being. By laying on of hands and by meditative attunement through meditation and prayer, and the sensing and balancing energies, the healer endeavours to create a beneficial effect upon a patient's life force at all levels. Any physical diagnosis must be obtained from a fully trained medical doctor. Distant healing may be given through meditation and prayer if the patient cannot be present.
